Kim Snyder

For over 30 years, Kim has helped nonprofits navigate the human side of technology—untangling systems, building capacity, and supporting teams through mission-aligned change. As Co-Founder of Meet the Moment, she guides organizations from confusion to confidence.

Kim's background bridges social work and technology in a way that's rare in the consulting world. With an MSW, PMP certification, agile certifications, and as a CIPP/US-certified privacy professional, she brings both technical fluency and deep organizational insight to every engagement. This combination allows her to see not just what technology can do, but how people experience it—and how to design change processes that stick.

Through partnerships with TechSoup, NTEN, and other leading nonprofit technology organizations, Kim has trained thousands of nonprofit professionals worldwide— including over 1,000 in responsible AI adoption since early 2023. She develops and delivers training programs, speaks regularly at the Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC), and is known for demystifying complex topics—AI, privacy, data governance—in plain English, with practical frameworks that nonprofit teams can implement immediately.

Kim specializes in helping organizations make confident technology decisions when resources are tight, stakes are high, and values are non-negotiable. Whether it's navigating AI adoption, conducting privacy assessments, or building digital governance frameworks, she helps nonprofits build capacity while honoring their missions and the communities they serve.

Kim's career has been rooted in mission-driven work from the beginning. She got her start at Fountain House in New York City's research unit, where she first met Joshua. Together, they went on to found their first business, then worked with the Fund for the City of New York before joining RoundTable Technology, where they spent over a decade helping nonprofits navigate complex technology challenges. Meet the Moment represents the next chapter in a partnership built on shared values and deep commitment to the nonprofit sector.
